I'm looking mainly at the door mirror foot lighting which shows a lexus logo under the mirror as you walk up to your car. this is OEM.

Looks like RX, NX, and LX all have this as a feature.
Has anyone done this mod to their US car?

Yea the best way to go about this is not to do it at all. Don’t ruin your car and make it look like trash or it belongs to a little kid.

 

Better be careful when ordering mirrors intended for Japan models. I made the mistake of ordering color-matched mirror housing covers to replace the black F-Sport ones I was't a fan of, only to find that the left and right mirror are not symmetric and different for non-LHD markets (passenger side is always subtly longer). It would be best to see if these options are available in a LHD market and order from there instead.
