Check back with your dealer regarding the retrofit of CarPlay to the early model year 2019's that were
built before the feature was released. There is a service procedure that takes about an hour (bit less
for a non-Nav) to install CarPlay. This is only for the NX, RC, LS, LC and 2019 ES's that are now
coming through with CP. This is Not a back fit for RX's or 2018 ES or anything else that does not
currently have CP.

Not sure what you are referring to. Had service at my dealer one week ago and he never mentioned this.

 

Had 5k for my 2019 nx pre october and sales man didnt ask or say anything about car play, but I also didnt ask as thought its too early and will do for 10k service anyway
