Default Driver’s side mirror parts question

Hi all!

I’m new here. Hope I post correctly.

Today someone hit and run my mirror, my mirror left hanging.
All clips on the cover were good, mirror didn’t break, upper color cover and lower cover were good, looks like the only part that’s broken is the hinge.

My question is is there a part that I can buy and transfer all the internal stuff to the new housing to keep the repair cost lower?
Can someone point me to the direction like where to buy the correct part?

Thank you guys in advance!

Tango

72 bucks? I'd just replace entire mirror.
Unless you have some fancy color.

Actually this is not for my car, it looks completely something else, this site probably not knowing what they're selling.
This is the actual mirror, with BSM and auto dimming.

Researched a little looks like It's possible to buy the lowest model without any feature and swap everything to the new housing, hardest part was probably need to cut and rewired the connector in order to fit thru that folding mechanism hole. That's about $160 for the basic mirror or about $460 for the features of my actual mirror.

Default Did your idea work?

you mentioned about buying a lesser unit and salvaging the parts of your mirror that didn't get damaged. Did you do that and how was your experience. I have a similar problem and was thinking the same thought.
Thanks

Haven't have time to do it yet... But still would attempt to do it that way.

So my car got broken into and I went to a shop to fix the window and the shop offer me to fix it for me he told me to buy the cheapest mirror and he swapped the housing for it. It worked. So it's possible, but I didn't DIY so I don't know the detail.
