Default Steering column too short?

I have the 2018 NX300h with the manual adjustable steering column. I find it too short to sit comfortably and hold the steering wheel while seat is adjusted for my 6’1” frame.

I had used a 2017 NX200t for a week and didn’t remember the same problem but that car had the power steering column.

Anyone else feel the steering column is too short?

We have only had our NX 200t for a couple of weeks. It is not the manual version.
I will say that at first, I would try to extend the steering column, only to find that it was already extended all the way out. I did feel like I needed a bit more. And I'm only 5'8".
You get used to it though.

6' 4'' 1/2 here. No problem with that. I actually don't even have StC fully extended, it feels too close then.About the worst one is center console "arm rest" totally digging into my elbow. But that's about it.

I totally agree with this, it feels like it needs just a little more but like ARPaul said, you do get used to it. For what its worth, our ES fits us the same way. Seems to be a Lexus design although I can't say I remember it from either RX that we had. Their design engineers must have long arms.

I just bought a 2019 NX and thought the same thing. It's fully automatic but doesn't come out as far as I would personally prefer. Would be great if it would come out another 1/2" - 1".
