fyi, one of the challenges known for iphone to properly function, Messages setting must be YES SHOW ON LOCK SCREEN.
Again, not sure about expectations about other phone brands, as the function is known as Siri Eyes Free.
I will have to check this on my wife's phone in the morning. I think this is set but we'll see... What a PITA to set up texts on this vehicle. Shouldn't be this difficult at all imho.
