Hi guys,
Someone hit my drive-side mirror and broke it. I put all the pieces together and it's working great, blind spot, turn signal, power and so on. But it won't tighten on the base of it. Not sure if it's glued or it would lock in and something is broken but besides that and very minor scuff marks, it's fine.
Dealer's replacement part is 87940-78040-C0 which is the entire package.

Is it possible to just replace the base such as this: https://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/...948-78010.html
