the grill I have is all black and pretty unique. I have seen other models tho with a chrome look, boy is that nice looking. just wondering if anyone has painted their grill or found one for sale that is chrome. think the gs fsports are chrome along with others.

 

really? I didn't know GS F sport is chrome! as far what I see in dealership. most f sport grill are just black. The second picture above is a concept version and in real life it should all come with black. So far I haven't see anyone paint it to chrome yet.

 

I can confirm that that GS F-sport does not have a chrome grille; it is gloss dark grey.


There isn't any model in the current lineup that has a chrome F-sport grille.

I believe I have seen the grill you are looking for, but I just can't recall where I saw an image of one. It may have been one of the after-market places like car-id or maybe even e-bay. I can't speak to the quality though.

Same here in California! but so many people just don't have front plate! Few of my friends haven't run into a problem yet for 3 years now.

 

It seems here on the east coast the police like the easy marks window tints and no front plate ..

 

oh I see what you mean. In here, when we get pull over for no front plate, we get a fixed it ticket which myself got one before. we have to show them the proof within a period of time haha. but yeah so many cars I see on street esp tesla has no front plate.

 

Friend of mine owns a M3 and doesn't have a front plate in NY. He somehow talks his way out of it when cops pull him over. I don't want to take the risk and just don't want to get bothered.

 

I've had some friends say they ticket harder in LA, especially if you are parked at LAX. They have come home to see a fix-it-ticket on their windshield..

 

Yup Confirmed....I got one at LAX when parked in garage there for few says on trip.

 

I usually don't drive my car to the airport (LAX), but if I did, I would park so close to the wall so they can't check, or buy/install a tow-hook license plate mount when parked at places that ticket.

Funny thing is, when I returned my leased car (no front plate) to the dealer, they asked why I bothered put the rear plate on. They said that this is how people get caught.
