I'm new to this tread asking for my mom's new NX. I live over on the RX forum.

i think answer is no from what I have seen, but does the screen stay up all the time or can I have it go down into the dash,?

I find it distracting.

Stays up. You can turn off the screen by going to the Main Menu, then click Display in the upper right corner, and click Display Off. Then hit the Menu button to wake it up when you need it.
