Best bet, go to the dealer.

I am guessing around $1200-$1500. This assumes you have a color that does not require patch matching.

The fender alone is probably $500-$700.

Looks like the fender is $335.52, but it is not a part you can order online, you would have to go to the dealer or a body shop. But yes, all the paint/prep/matching, etc will prob run you over a grand.

Welcome to the forum though wish it were under better circumstances for you.

If the damage is repairable, that is, if the fender can be shaped back, puttied, sanded, and painted it could be cheaper if the labor is not that much more than removal and replacing a new fender piece.

Post pics if you can.

OP - I had a gate close on my fender causing a tennis ball sized dent in it. I got several out of pocket quotes and the range I received from reputable auto body places ranged from $1,300 to $1,850 from a lexus collision repair center. Because of the location and nature of the dent, it could not be pulled out and instead required the fender to be replaced entirely. I soon learned that replacing the fender resulted in having to replace my F-Sport emblem located on the fender as well and paint blending on portions of the passenger door and also on the hood. These were best practices and both places quoted me similar things.

I ultimately went through insurance and the insurance cost was approximately $2,600. Not sure why the price through insurance is different than out of pocket costs. In any event, the cost was higher than I expected and to be done right required other repairs and work to make them look seamless. It's my understanding that there are ways to cut corners and reduce the cost, but it may not look like knew. Good luck.

OP...since your insurance is paying the repair for the other party have yours repaired by the insurance as well. You only pay for the deductible and it only counts as ONE incident in your record.
