Long bolts underneath the vehicle?

Long bolts underneath the vehicle?

Was looking under the vehicle and saw these bolts. Seems kinda excessive? Perhaps an inch longer then they should be? Never seen this on a Toyota/Lexus or any vehicle for this matter.

They are the end links for the rear sway bar (stabilizer bar). Mine is the same, shop manual shows them fairly long too.
