Hello! I recently purchased from US a 2016 Lexus NX300h and got it in Europe. It wasn't a new car from a dealer. It arrive without a Micro SD Navigation Memory card. So what are available option for me right now? :

1) Can any of you copy all files from a Lexus Micro SD Navigation Memory card and upload somewhere so i can download and put on a micro sd card or it will not work in this way?
2) Should i buy a Lexus Micro SD Navigation Memory Card from ebay? If this is an option, which is the latest upgrade available? Here are some offers:

Please do not suggest to ask this question on a Local Dealer because they don't want to help me if the car was purchased from USA.

I need a Lexus Navigation Memory Card(even if i'll not use navigation maps from it) to have pop up message removed from my screen after car is started.

pretty sure you can't just copy the files onto your own blank microsd card. It utilizes the "secure" part of SD.

So, i purchased for my 2016 Lexus NX300h from ebay Micro SD with Part Number: 86271-78011

I inserted it, then turned on my car. 1-2 min there was wrote Checking Data and then appeared: Unable to read the data. Please contact your dealer.

So there is issue with specific micro sd i purchased or it will not work if previously was used on a different Lexus NX car?

Please let me know!

 

If it was used already on a previous vehicle, it is likely linked to that vehicles VIN and cannot be used in another vehicle. It would be a poor business model to create a card that could be used in multiple vehicles.

 

But there are a lot of ebay sellers that sell memory card on ebay and claim it works on ther vehicles. The only issue i think it may be is that for 2014-2015 part number for memory card is: 86271-78011 while for 2016 Lexus NX it is: 86271-78013.

So, i bought from ebay version: 86271-78011 and it won't work like i described before. Do you think if i'll find 86271-78013 it will work?

Does anyone have a friend with NX and can exchange his memory card and try it in his NX to understood for sure if one card works on another car?

They all say they won't work !
