I have been testing and checking the drive differences with and without AVS over the last week. All I can say is "wow", what a difference, it really is like having an improved handling vehicle. Tight, controlled and balanced. Wish there was a way to leave it permanently set there. This should be an available feature for all buyers, albeit at a increased cost, but it is well worth it!
Yeah, AVS is only available for the FSport Series 2 (2015) or Series 3 (2016) in Canada (and other markets overseas), not in the US.
Difference is noticeable in ride control and comfort compared to the regular suspension F Sport. It also has reduced body roll on Sport S+ adding to the fun factor on the twisties. Enjoy!
It is pretty dumb manufacturers can't make 1 model for different countries. Canada gets this, US gets this, other countries get this and that. It just creates a negative feeling, like something was left out. My NX is considered fully loaded in the U.S. but not considered fully loaded in other countries because I don't have AVS, HUD or Lane departure like you guys. Lame.
It is rare that Canada gets more options or features than the US. Looking at the prices paid section, it seems like our prices are also market adjusted for the lower Canadian dollar.

Australia gets all the features for a whopping $63000 US ($82440 AUS) drive away. That's right. Our NX is priced like a LS in the US.
North Americans cannot complain of a raw deal when it comes to cars.
Helllooooo.... my "fully loaded" f-sport (WITHOUT HUD!!, Without lane departure) comes in at around 380k Malaysian ringgit, which works out to 95,000 USD...

That's right! I paid top dollar for my loaded NX here in Australia.
But FWIW, I'm not really sure if AVS is really "comfortable". I do think the suspension is better in the Sport/Sport+ modes but I still find it a little harsh in Normal. Some of my friends think normal is really comfortable though so I guess it's per person basis.

I can't honestly say I notice a difference with the different settings in the AVS equipped cars.
The non-fsport cars have great suspension.
The fsport are simply hard. This is regardless of whether the car has AVS or whether the AVS equipped cars are in sport + (AVS on) or other settings (AVS off).
In daily commutes AVS is a gimmic. You will need to place the NX on a track and above legal speeds to notice a performance difference. If your planning to do that in your little SUV then you've bought the wrong car.
Interesting opinion and obviously these are all quite subjective but I couldn't disagree more. The regular NX had a soft suspension to my seat and I would not have been happy with it, even if it was available with the F Sport styling. I suspect these opinions are based on what people are used to and having come from vehicles with sporting intentions, I am happy with the suspension and can notice the difference between the Sport and Sport+ settings.
I have no intention of taking mine or any SUV on the track, no offense to CorradoMR2, but am quite pleased with its highway and city handling.
Tight is the word I'd use to describe it, like OP has done so. While great in non-S+ modes for the bumpy Philippine roads we deal with every day, the vehicle body just floats/rolls too much. Having AVS around makes transitions so much more predictable, specially on spirited runs like in the video below, which was taken on a street with no speed limit. I still made sure to slow down whenever I see bikers/other motorists, and never went flat out on blind corners.
