Well, not exactly. It's actually my 1,001st post.
It's been a wild ride here on Club Lexus. When I had my RX, I posted my fair share, but not as much as when I bought my NX. Here is a pic of my NX now that I put the license plate back on after blacking-out the (non-F) grill with plasti-dip...

are police harassing you? I haven't had any trouble with police with no front plate so far but I do keep the registration tag on the windshield.
A couple of reasons:
1) It's California law (but my other cars don't have a front plate). In some areas, police target cars without the front plate (e.g. LAX Parking Lot C)
2) I have a custom plate, so I want to mount it.
By the way, I didn't want to drill any holes for the mount, so I crafted a "drill-less mounting procedure". Read about it here.
