Small storage space

 

Anyone know if the microSD slot (used for map updates) under the CD player can be replaced with a power or USB outlet for cars without nav?

Ehhh, that doesn't really solve the problem. There's nowhere to place that permanently (another reason that "storage" area is useless) and it's an unsightly wire along the center.

I have that 3 way adapter in the central arm rest. It powers my dash cam, ambient lighting and charges my phone. Can you explain how it's useless?

 

I said the storage area is useless in being able to hold something like this adapter. Even if it did, the adapter cable would still be running along the gear shift area. I could fix the wire to the side, but it's just not a good look.

My "storage area" I was talking about is the central armrest, the one behind the cup holders?
