Default Base model upgrades

Greetings all!
We're new to the Lexus family after several Lincolns.
My question is, on a base model NX200t what can be upgraded using the existing wiring harness?
Touch pad for instance, can one be slapped in place?

Are there other things a Premium would have?

Thanks, I searched.

Maybe its not as common with Lexus models as it is with say a Tundra.

Many people have upgraded other vehicle features commonly found on the next level vehicle because wiring harnesses are all the same (usually).

Or maybe no one does it here.

No DIY Lexus owners?

You can try to add "upgrades" but it would be very expensive for parts. You're better off ordering the car equipped with the features you want.

Right, well thanks for that opinion dchar. It's been done on every model of car since cars were invented. It's called modding, sorry if you're not into it. I'm sure you have a good reason.

Theres usually a long list of items that can be installed from skills levels of easy to difficult after a couple years of new vehicle release. That's what I'm looking for. Ideas, experiences. Not, dont do it, just buy another level vehicle.

Some people dont want to pay extra for 10 things extra when they only want one or two. Those are Do It Yourself people and I'd like to hear from people who use their hands and their brains together./

2016nx:

While I absolutely agree this is the sort of thing we should be discussing here (I've done it myself on most every car I've owned) and fully disagree with dchar's perspective, there is no need for the rude commentary towards other members to get your point across. Let's keep things polite and mature please.
