Hi! My Lexus will read my texts to me, but I cannot use a voice command to send a text. The product specialist wasn't sure my Samsung Galaxy 6 would be able to send a text with voice command - that I need Siri to do this.

Anyone have a work around for this? Thanks!

 

I don't know an answer for sure, but with Android you can use google to send a text message, but you have to have a default texting app defined to do it. I don't use this feature to be honest, so that might be the best I can do. You can google how to do a voice text with an android phone and see what comes up.

I use Google Voice for all my texting and phone-call needs. I am able to use the Google voice recognition on my S4 to compose a text message, albeit it is directly through the phone and not through the NX's microphone.
