Hey Guys,

Just checked with parts today for in Canada and in the US and they don't seem to have any words on intakes, has anybody else heard anything different?

 

I'm not shocked, the car just came out.

if you want my opinion though, from a person who is very much into performance mods (I, along with my father have built 2 under 9 second drag cars, one being a 7 second car), short ram intakes aren't worth their cost. Unless you're willing to do a high volume tube with a cooling insert, you gain nothing except the ability to say that you have an intake. There will be no performance gains. Your money would be much better spent awaiting a longer tube that runs lower in the car if you performance gains. Just make sure you look into a hydrolock preventer (almost blew the motor up in my genesis coupe in a heavy rain storm I got trapped in).

Personally, I'm waiting for someone that can make a good exhaust with a good backpressure resonator that can make this 4 banger sound good.

Also, Lexus parts are never going to give you the performance you want. They are safe production parts with an over inflated price. You can do much better for the price.

I'd save your money and wait.
