I have an NX F Sport on order but it won't arrive until February. I know this will be subjective but can someone comment regarding the sound quality of the various sound systems. Since we don't get the Mark Levinson system, I think the two options for the U.S. markets are the 8 speaker and the 10 speaker system that comes with the nav equipped vehicles.
I have a 2014 RX with the display audio package which I think adds a couple of speakers to the standard RX system. Sound is good but I wouldn't say above average.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but don't set your expectations too high on this one. I have the F-Sport with Navigation and 10 speaker system, and though I very much like the technology offerings, for me the quality of sound itself is mediocre at best. My biggest gripe isn't necessarily with the sound quality, (though I was rather disappointed with it) but with the rigmarole of adjusting the sound. As anyone who routinely listens to digitally compressed music can attest, which would be most everyone nowadays, the variances of compression ratios and the like, reek havoc when trying to maintain a nominal tonal settings. It is asinine the amount of 'clicks' or pages required to simply access a control to adjust the bass. Having said that, it's a fine sounding system and will satisfy the taste of most. Just not an audiophile or someone with higher than average expectations. Having said that, the rest of this car is fan-freakin'-tastic, and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm sure you will be too!
