Question NX steering

Hi there,

Is it true that the NX 2021 changes the steering feel when you set on sport mode? I am not talking necesarely about the FSport version. The 2021 NX manual says yes. The dealers say no.

Thank you,

Thank you,
Well, I didn't have an answer as I have 2020 NX, so I googled it for 2021 and for all the years prior 2015-2020 and they all had pretty much the same answer below.

So, who do we believe the manual or the dealer ?!

Now, I don't know how truthful or accurate this info is but this is what it said for 2020 and 2021:

Thank you RofH for your answer. I drove one yesterday. It stiffens in Sport Mode but has a little feeling "elastic". Ok but not full pleasant.

Have a nice day.

No worries.

To be honest, I haven't driven much in Sport Mode. I purposely did it last week but probably should've done in on more winding roads so didn't "feel" much difference. I love my NX though. It's zippy and lighter than previous SUVs I've had, so I feel like I'm in Sport Mode even when I'm not.

Good Luck with your search. If you end up getting a 2nd Gen NX, it's all good. It's all in a matter of personal taste and what you want out of a vehicle.

I love mine though as I'm old school -- I prefer the buttons and ***** for climate control and don't want to go into a screen to set my climate. I also don't mind the dated infotainment system, prefer the older body style, and the old logo instead of the L E X U S spelled out. I have the Luxury trim with all the bells and whistles that crossed the border into the States and am thankful for the heated back seats. The only thing(s) I would miss is not having the door puddle lights on 1st Gen even on Refresh Years. I still bought them that attach to bottom of door, but it would've been nice to already have the lights there. I also wish I had the ML stereo, but it's not a deal breaker as we have it on our other Lexus.

Enjoy your Hump Day as well
