Default Door panel armrest support poking through..

Does anyone else have this happening on their 2016 NX? Or other years? Looks like there is a metal or plastic support that is poking up and might eventually cut through. Did maybe Lexus have a TSB for this? Doesn't look too bad in pictures but it sticks out pretty good.

Thank you

I have a 2020 NX and have not had this happen.

Do you have an FSport by chance?

I didn’t go through these on the link below, but maybe you can find a TSB on your MY or in general:

Yeah it's an F Sport. Thanks for the list, kind scary there's so many things haha, I don't think I was aware of any of that. I'll check it out and see if I can find anything on these interior pieces.

No worries.

Yes, there's a lot to take in, but relative to other brands, I still think the NX is a solid car and IMO even with all the issues, I would still take my 1st Gen over 2nd Gen NX.

Having said that, if you're lucky enough to get one w/o issues, then phew!! But of course there are lemons in every maker. If all you have is a metal or plastic piece that has the potential of poking up, that's a fairly easy(?) fix and not an expensive engine problem.

Keep us posted on what you find out and how to fix it as this will help others with the same issue.
