Confirm Heated Seats??
Sorry to post this without searching first, but I'm in a time crunch. We're looking at buying a 2021 NX but haven't seen it yet. I've been able to download a copy of the window sticker and, of course, there's the dealer's web listing. Neither seem to mention heated seats. Is this part of another package? I see heated mirrors, the cold weather package, and such. Speaking of the cold weather package, can anyone tell me what the Additional Heater is and does? Thanks!!

There's a heater for the windshield wipers, I believe, though I haven't had to use that yet as my car is garaged and during the winter didn't need leaving work.
Edit: I was assuming the additional heater you were asking about was part of the cold weather pkg you mentioned.
I also have heated back seats that were only offered to NXs bound for Canada. My NX crossed the border into the states, that's why I have them.

Does the dealer's website listing have pics of the climate controls? There you should be able to see the heated seats. If no pics, just ask them before you waste your time looking at it. That was a priority of mine, also heated steering wheel.

Yes - the additional heater is part of the cold weather package.
This is a 2021 (pre Lexus Interface) with an insane low mileage. We have a 2022 and hate the whole Lexus Interface thing and hope we can work out a deal.
This is a brand new listing and the dealer doesn't have pics up yet. The sales guy confirms heated and cooled seats.

This is the first time I'm hearing of someone going backwards, but I suppose having the first model year of the 2nd gen needs to work out all the kinks.
At least this way you can rest assured you're getting the last iteration of a gen -- Way to Go YOU
EDIT: May I ask what the mileage is?

Hah!! I wholeheartedly agree with you!! I don't mind the touchpad infotainment, and prefer all the buttons/switches/*****. I have the 2020 Lux and COULD NOT be more happy. You will be getting the best of the best on the last year of 1st gen.

A 2021 -no touch screen, no profiles to get messed up. We might even be able to use the car's Bluetooth to make calls.
Is the Android Auto wired or wireless? That will probable be answered when I watch Northside Lexus's "Deep Dive" video.

Thanks. When we went to test drive the NX the first time, 2022 was when they didn't have any cars and all we could drive was was a 2021. Obviously we liked it and bought the 2022. We never really liked it and somewhat seriously looked at replacing it a year or so ago with a 2021. But at the time couldn't find one just as we wanted it so stopped looking. But the other day the Autotrader search we left active hit on one *exactly* as we want with the bonus of having less that 8000 miles on it. NO - that's not a typo less than eight thousand miles!! Red with tan interior. So far, from the pictues, the only down side is that it's pretty much a carbon copy of my red 2019 RX.

OMGoodness - that's awesome!! I would say it's brand new really. 2k miles/year for you - WOW!! I mean you can't beat less than 8k miles!! We felt the same way when we picked up our 2020 last Oct with 26k miles for a 4-yr old car, it was practically brand new. The ApplePlay was wireless, so I'm assuming the same for Android Auto, but we don't have Android phone so didn't try it out. And it's okay your RX and NX is the same color combo -- who cares?! Nobody else should but you and whatever makes you both happy is what counts!!
Yes, the Deep Dive is most helpful, had to try watching a few times as I fell asleep hahahahaha. But if you have any other questions, just ask. If you have the charger tray in the center console, it did work for us but we've only used it once. Other's have complained about the slow charge.
I look forward to seeing if you two pull the trigger on this...
