My 2015 NX200t's sound system seems to be shorted. The screen comes on and off - sometimes stays on for long periods, and other times it stays dead. I have tried various fixes I've seen online but none have worked. The dealer quoted me a ridiculous ammount to swap the whole system and that is definitely out of the picture as the car is older and I'm driving it until it dies. I've now been thinking about installing an aftermarket tablet with CarPlay on it, but before I pull the trigger and rip the dash apart, I want to make sure it will be possible to hook it up to the cars sound system. If anyone has any insight on this please let me know!

Do you expect any difference for a LHD car -- do you think all cords, plug ins are the same, just have to use for other side or did you have to specify when ordering which one you have?

I did have to send photos of car dash, touchpad and country and details of vehicle. They sent a message thru AliExpress...
I have to assume they know all the requirements.
Time will tell if its all working but not using car atm.
