iPhone wireless charging
I see wireless chargers retrofits are available from aliexpress:

But they come with some weird connector instead of a standard USB. Any ideas where this plugs in? I am thinking or just buying mag-safe charger and modifying my coin tray. Any suggestions?
thank you

Can't tell from the picture specifically but if it's anything like most it's going to plug inline with another device such as the 12v adaptor plug. When I got illuminated cup holders for my CT the t-connector tied into the 12v socket which was nice so nothing to splice and cut.
Get it and then post up so we can see. This looks like a decent solution.

Yes, it's not a USB connector... more than likely it's being plugged into the 12v inline connector or another plug inside the console area. If it's wireless charging, it's not going to be plugging into a 5v usb port anywhere on the car. It's going to be pulling from a 12v source.

I posted a question to the seller about the connector, hopefully get an answer. I was going to get a charger from amazon that plugs into USB and modify the tray so the charger is mounted at the boom of the tray.
