Clear Bra/PPF
I am scheduled to pick up my new IS350 NPG this weekend. This will be my first Lexus. Any thoughts if clear bra or ppf are worth it in the bay area? Are rock chips really a problem here? I am located in San Jose and my daily commute is all city streets. My mix is probably 70% city/30% highway.
Quotes I got range from 1850 to 2400 for full hood, full fender, bumper, headlights, door cups.
Thanks

To op: If you are heading up to S.F. a lot, I highly recommend getting clear bra at least on the front bumper of your car. There's been ALOT of construction going on lately through S.F. It may be expensive but worth it.

I drive around South Bay everyday. After 5 years, my red car had white spots all over the front from debris and rock chips. Bought a new bumper last year and made sure I had Xpel Ultimate applied to just the front bumper. I would highly recommend it, although I don't have much experience with rock chips on grey cars

Thanks for all the replys. I ended up only covering the front bumper. My detailer mentioned that that is all he has on his car and that is where he sees the most chips. I also checked out my friends' and family's cars and most had almost nothing on the hood and fenders. Going to take a bit of that saved money and upgrade lights to led instead.
