I understand but that seems to be like a scratch and run. It looks really minor and could be repainted. Are the scratches deep?

Sorry to hear about your bumper, perhaps you can try using some compound to rub out the small scratches. Look on the bright side at least your bumper isn't cracked. Hope you get everything fixed soon.

Just like bweezy said, rub the scratches down and some touch up paint should be good.

Looks like it can be buffed out if you go to the right shop. I opened this thread thinking some crazy hit/run.

I know how you feel. You can go three ways, you can use touch-up paint, you could get a vinyl sheet and wrap the bumper (dry carbon from 3M or similar), or you could just spend about $300-$400 to get it fully repainted.

Ouch! It happens...
Watch on your deductiable fee and see if you can claim it on insurance. Pay from your pocket if your insurance deductiable is more than $300..... I think a cheap bumper paint job is around $250, or a quality job worth around $500 these days.

I feel you man, i got hit twice close to the same spot in my rear trunk. Damn 24hr fitness parking lot!! I was debating getting a carbon fiber trunk since its about the same price as getting it repainted.
