bosozoku styling in japan has been around for a long time.
while it may look crazy and over the top, but thats what they are shooting for
some of the not so extremes are actually really nice looking cars if you just cut their crazy exhaust tips off. you kinda have to respect old japanese cars to appreciate what some of them do.

A lot of those mods would never pass here. I'm talking about the extended lips and rear ends (how would you PARK that?), the exhausts. Driving with the occupants hanging out of the cars like the one with the tiger suit on.
I suspect it's much easier in Japan with the laws.
