Hey Guys,

I'm planning to do a photoshoot/video at Treasure Island.

DATE: Saturday, April 30th
TIME: 9:00am until done

DIRECTIONS to Treasure Island...
Whether you are coming from North or South...just make your way to the Bay Bridge.

Once you're on the Bridge, stay on your far left lane. You will see a sign, exit Treasure Island. And from there, just make your way down the hill (TI becomes Ave. of the Palms) and its the scenic route. On your left is the view of the bay, and to your right are buildings.

MEETING SPOT: We will park next to a white (glass window) building w/white roof tent (Ave. of the Palms & 5th Street)...close to the pier.

This is an opportunity for you to do your own photography/video of members rides as well.

NOTE: The video will NOT include any members facial shot (sorry)...only their cars. Also, the cars that will be part of the video, I will request to have their front and rear license plates remove prior to filming. And due to law enforcement, we will obey the speed limit at all times.

This is not a car show by any means, although it may end up looking like one if we get a lot of members to show up - and I do hope we do.

This GTG is really an opportunity (to be your own director) for a photoshoot/video at most beautiful view in SF.

What this photoshoot GTG means? Attendees/members will be happy to position/drive their car to get that shot you've been trying to capture.

Many of us tried to get that nice shot at a car show, but was not successful due to people walking in front of camera, and cars parked so close. So this is your chance to get that screen-saver pic.

This might be a stupid question, but are you going to be doing the shoot? The reason I ask is because I don't have a high end camera, and I'm definitely not a pro.

I will be doing the photoshoot/video. I don't have a 10k camera, but I have a camera and editing skills that will make the photo/video look very nice.

Thanx for the message about this Dex. Man, i would SO be down for this. If i found out about 2 days earlier, i could have asked for that day off from work. I will see if i can switch with someone if i am working (and most likely i will be). 9am though?? That's a little early. Do we HAVE to do it at 9?

Hey Jessica, I hope you can make it.

9am is actually late for a photoshoot.

We usually do photoshoots as early as 5am. Cause once the sun is up...its harder to take a good pics.

OH, DUH! That makes total sense, lol. I like to take my car pix in the evening when the sun is setting or at dusk. Makes the car look so clean
