I second Valens, I been taking my IS there for anything I can't do myself. I had my brother take his FRS there for some work too. Nice GS by the way. I haven't done anything to my car for years now... besides keeping it looking and running clean lol.

As for Shaver, sounds like a nice and fun drive. I don't remember the last time I been up to Shaver, in the car, always take the bike. Good thing is it only takes 20-30 mins on the bike If I don't go to your birthday event Nathan, Happy Birthday!

It's going to be packed!!! I was there yesterday and the shoreline was lined up with canopies. It was nice to escape triple digits for sure though. We can just hit up the first marina resort area because access is easy and there is no off reading involved. Have fun carrying all our things down to the shore lol! Day can you bring your canopy also? Thanks in advance. Bring the fishing poles also!

Default Back at it

Glad to see some central folks in here as well. Just sold my 500 whp m3, first and last german piece of crap. Bought a sc430 and now I'm going to start the build. Had a l-tuned gs430 (even had all the suspension, trd brace, srt intake ecu, borla exhaust, test pipes, blah blah) back in 2004 with 225 shot wet system. First one to squeeze 175 plus in a gs. 12s sec on 20s at famoso. With the sc430 I'm planning either twin turbo or sc, so I'll be on here for a while researching what have been done or attempted. Any good performance shop that have sc430 parts locally? Or a trusted lexus shop ( for maintenance) anyone recommends? Thanks and hopeful there's a lexus cencal meet. Btw who here has a turbo is300 silver that keep getting beat by my m3 (harassed me on blackstone) and then by my boys white s500? That was fun lol.

Cars I've owned:
93 nsx red 13.5 ( mainly stock, suspension, wings west kit)
02 Turbo s2000 386whp
01 All motor s2000 273whp
95 Sc400 stock cruiser
01 is300 my daily beater to get shop supplies
91 ls400 my first lexus died with 490k miles (dumb brother tried to drift)
91 ef9 first car I had that broke into 13s
89 civic 4dr my first car
83 Datsun 280zx nice but always overheating
97 240sx sr20det swap my first drift car
95 e36 m3 500whp plus maintenance ***** 20k in 2 years high 11 sec car my touge beast.
91 crx first Dohc zc swap in the valley back in 97, first drag car
02 gs430 Over 500 whp( depends what shots i was using) my first car in 12s with 4dr.
96 intergra crv swap, my button willow track car.
93 rx7 turbo what a waste of money that was. Rotary sucks.
02 sc430 blk on blk plans on 600-700hp goal daily cruiser.

Hey welcome Blackrain! Nice collection of cars you've had there We'll definitely get a mini meet going so you can meet our local members.

I for one dont know any local shops that would have parts like that locally. Searching these forums will help you A LOT! Club Lexus has everything you need and very helpful members. Hope to catch you soon, we'll keep in touch.

You're more than welcomed to join us on our trip to Shaver Lake, but being that you're new, not sure if you're down for something like that with people you dont know But you are invited Shoot me your cell number, I usually keep in touch through texts for upcoming events.
