$$130 for painting a lip, is it cheap?
hey guys i am getting a lip installed at domport auto body located in San francisco around downtown area. they are charging me 130 dollars to paint a lip. i was introduced there by a friend, however my other friend said thats probably not going to be good quality paint, what do you guys think?
the guy at the shop did told me, they can not match 100% of the color with my car (silver), but they can get it up to 80 + % match.

I don't have experience witht them... what color is ur car??? I'm also gettin a lip painted in alameda though cheapest price I found and lexus recomended them to me so they should be good. I'm payin 250 though cause my car is starfire pearl. 150 sounds right if ur car isn't pearl.

i'm getting my lip, roof spoiler and grill surround at the end of the month or maybe beginning of feb...
same color too...

Try Sunny Auto in SF on Potrero Ave, Denny is really good. I just had my roof spoiler painted for $40 plus installed. My paint is probably kind of hard to mix since its truffle mica....but I can say the paint matches 99%...really happy with it. Give them a call and see what they quote you. GL

I believe he got the JP Visage replica one from Bayson R Motorsports. Wouldn't it be cheaper to get all your stuff painted at once if its silver?
Shoot I've been on the verge to place an order many times for a front lip but wasn't sure how much I'd spend for paint/install. I'd be down to minimize costs to get my stuff painted.

Yea I got the lip from bayson off ebay... I will definately post pics when I install... its definately cheaper to get a kit painted together instead of seperate pieces... guess cause the amount of paint they need... I don't know...
Just called to check on me lip... won't be done till tomorrow... got to dry tonight they said... oh well I been slackin on gettin it painted anyway 1 more day wonld hurt.
