Question Best place to Mount/Balance 30 series tires w/o Damage in South Bay

Hi All,

I am looking for the best place to mount and balance 30 series tires w/o damage to my wheels.

I have tried Wheel Techniques and honestly to say, if the old man in the back working the machine is in a good mood, he'll be extra careful. When he is in a bad mood, he can do some damage. Anyway, time for me to move on and away from Wheel Techniques.

Anyone recommend a place that does a good job at reasonable price? Let's say.. at most $20 per wheel for mount and balance?

Many thanks!

Auto Innovation in Milpitas... they will not leave a single scratch on your wheel. Very professional.

Or you can try America's Tires in San Jose, ask for Roger aka Jspec

Try city tire in South Gate. They specialize in custom wheels and they have a road force balancer. Highly recommended.

Exact Motorsports mounted my "Pricey" 20" HRE wheels with 25 series tires.

I've had 4 mount / dis-mounts done (On polished Lip HREs) over the past 5 years with no issues.

They've been taking special care to provide services for Lexus owners for a long time now.

i had a bad experience as well at wheel technique with mounting the tires back on. im running a 20' w/ 30 series tire as well.

i now just get it done at Exact, i forget what they charge exactly because i'm usually getting other work done, but it should be within your range. they've done a great job with taking care of my wheels.

I'll do it for you. I cant guarantee the price is going to be about $20 per wheel. Mount/Dismount prices for a 20" wheel are not cheap. If you want to pay the extra money for extra care and quality service shoot me a PM.

In the past I've taken care of a handful of Club Lexus members, including yourself, in the Northern Cal region. Im proud to say I always get picked first when it comes to servicing a high end luxury car like a Rolls Royce, Maseratti, etc. Ive also worked on a few Ferraris old and new. As for the sidewall, the lowest Ive gone was a 20 series on a wheel bigger than 20".

Just curious, how much would you charge to mount a set of 285/35/18 rear tires for my car?
