Hey guys, I'm coming from Brooklyn..Where are the directions to this place? I'm still looking to go, it just depends how far it is...if its over 100 miles I'm a no show...

Dennis, I mapped it out for you here. The destination is at Windsor Locks, CT, and unfortunately it's 100+ miles for you

 

Guys, if my car is finished I will come to this one.

Dennis, if you want to come, I will tell you a quicker, smoother way than 95 north (plus you'll get to give that suspension a workout!!)

 

100+ miles... That blows...I had a hard time driving back home from Bear Mount...I was gonna fall asleep...

Dennis man, you've gotta make it, check out directions to the Berlin Turnpike (rt5) that's about 30 mi closer to you. Maybe you can just meet us at hooters. It'll be cool anyway, you guys should all try and make it. Weather is lookin good too, just keep me posted.

 

Dennis, you can crash at my place if you're worried about falling asleep on the long drive back. I live in Danbury, CT, right off of I-84, and it's a good 1-1/2 hrs away from Brooklyn (easy drive), and a little more than an hour from Berlin Turnpike.

 

So how does everyone feel about moving this to say aug 1st or somewhere around there? or is this sat better for everyone? Bad news... my trany blew, I'll prob get it fixed next week if i can come up with some quick cash, however, if you guys still wanna do it this week, I'm def not showing up in a lex, as mine only goes backwards. So let me know what you guys think, sorry...

Sounds like we drive similiar, I was drivin down the highway, then next thing u know i hit the gas and the RPM goes up and MPH goes down, I'm like that can't b good. Stuck it in "2" nothin, "1" nothin, but it goes in reverse quite well. However, I found one used, 110,000 miles for 850 with 1 yr parts AND labor warrenty, so I'm gettin that with the service as I've never touched a trany let alone a lex one, I'll pay the 650. And that's it my friend, nopefully good and runnin by next weekend.

I don't mind the meet being put off till August 1st or 2nd. Maybe more people will know about it then and have an interest in coming along.

 

Well we got lexusk8, vssc400, jbbnet, one hot sc, and steviej, and if we moved it to the 1st or 2nd, dgot20's and steviej would both be in and both said they can't make it this weekend. So it's up to you guys, we can still do it I guess, just that my car def wont be there this satuday. So I dunno, lets make some kind of call I guess, sorry bout this again guys, but I'm plannin on changin out the converter in the meantime so maybe something good will come out of this!

 

hey if its the 1st or 2nd I can probably make it. i'd love to come meet all you guys again from the Bear Mt meet.
