I'm down for it, as long as the meet doesn't revolve around snowy days. I myself met up with a few CL members in Boston last month, and they're interested in coming down for a winter/pre-spring meet.

How about President's Day weekend (Feb. 15-17)? I have off that day at least, and I'm sure most other people will too. That's about a month from now.

The last 2 meets have been held at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. If we plan to have this meet coming up soon, let's get a few guys to organize this thing (perhaps the same fellows as last time) and help set up a date and location. From the tone of this thread, it's almost like everyone's hibernating this winter But if you guys want this meet to happen, let's start talking. I vote for either Saturday or Sunday (Feb. 15/16) at FBF.

from our previose meetings it looks like sunday is always better due to some people couldn't make on saturdays

as per ogranization issue, i belive we paid to fbf to rent a hangar or somethin so that we wont have to freeze our butts outside in this weather..

Hmm... well, the King's Plaza parking garage comes to mind, like we did in the Oct. 02 meet. Probably not a comfort for everyone to stand outside in the chilly weather. Any other alternative locations, preferably indoors or in a large parking garage?

We can use the huge parking lot @ Gateway Mall...Correct me if I'm wrong....I went there to go to Home Depot..Its definitely large enough for a meet..what do you guys think?>

Is that off of Belt Parkway, like exit 15? My cousin and I went there after Christmas, and the parking lot is HUGE. It'll probably be less crowded to have a meet there than @ King's Plaza. JMO.
