It's that time to renew the inspection sticker. I have tints on driver & passenger side, pretty light tints and remembered from a previous thread that they will now only check emissions and some other stuff but that I should be fine with my front tints. Is this true can anyone verify? Thanks in advance!

 

Correct. All they are doing is checking emissions. So you will be fine to go thru and get inspected.

I have a friend that works at the Eatontown DMV. Its funny he use to work there years ago when it was strict and now he works there again. He said the inspection is a joke. As long as you can pass emissions then your good to go.

 

u will definitly be fine. my wife made it through with no problems at the wayne dmv and she has tints all around on her honda fit.they just check for cats and do the sniffer test and send you on your way.
