I'm kind of a speeder.....and i neeeeeeeeed a radar detector or sumthin. Any of you guys got any suggestions?

if u wanna get something inexpensive, go with whistler or cobra. i hear whistler has pretty good range for something that costs 150.

otherwise the big boys are Valentine V1 (the arrows are so awesome), Escort 8500 x50 or 9500, and Beltronics STI Driver

 

i drive too fast too.

i think i need an ls460 to slow me down.

To answer your question, I would look into the Valentine. I personally have slowed down but here and there the "need for speed" comes to me.

Escort 9500i, I don't need the arrows. I hear it chirp and tell me the type of radar and I slow down. It also has GPS and can tell you your current speed and allow you to mark places of false alarms.

 

i have a hardwired 9500i in my 3series. i drive offensively, not aggressively. no tickets yet and with the way i pick up signals i dont think i ever will. the remote mute/block button is handy as well. gps speed is very accurate when compared to speedo.
