i took a trip to baltimore todayto watch my 8 year old sons basketball game and passed the usualhang out for the state troopers just past the first rest area once you pay the toll on I95 south and i saw an expedition sitting there, i wasnt sure itwas the popo until i got alittle further down the road and i saw another one on the other side pulling over a victim it seems like a weird choice for a trooper, i mean who can they catch in one of those things?and can oneof you maryland guys tell me why there are 2 toll going north on I95 from bmore and only 1 going south coming out of deleware

 

I dont know probably because MD is a money hungry state. It seems like they tax you for everything in MD. I always owe state taxes.

 

yeah and i didnt even want to say anything about the harbor tunnel toll

 

Those were MTA police. MD Transportation Authority. They patrol all tunnels and bridges in MD. Trust me when I say they are not as bad as the MD State troopers. They have a couple mustangs too. So be careful around the harbor tunnel.

 

15 more minutes to your trip you can bypass the tunnel...take 695...where does your son play ball at?

 

yeah i get off on 895 and take 40w to west baltimore, he plays at BENTALOU center

Ive seen the mustangs b4, its funny though b/c MD is one of the only states that IVE seen where they clock you standing outside the car and then motion for you to pull over once you get near their positon.

 

Just as you was talking about the Expedition State Troopers I saw one going to church today right off of Penn. Ave.
