just want to worn all my NYC CL people out there.... today i went to 8 av for a hair cut.. parked on the side. and put $0.25 in the dam meter that's flashing(flashing is indicates there's no money in the meter).. and it continue to flash after the quarter was inputed.. so i rip out another quarter.. and still no time showing .. still the 4 zero blink.... so i was assuming the meter was broken. and i went on my way...

after 15 minuts of the hair cut.. i came out and there he was.. circuling around my ride.. i went and plead my case.. i even rip out another quarter to show him that it's broken.. his reply was" if it's blinking, it means the meter is functional, and if you put a quarter in and still blinks you'll have to park else where ".. i told him that he should understand that NYC parking is crazy. and asked him to write something on the ticket so i can show prove .. he refuse and walk away. i gave him the finger and told him to screw himself and have a happy NEW YEAR....

so to the moral is.. NYC ticketers sucks .. and if it's blinking after a quarter is put in.. park else where or you're have to send in those tickets and pray that it won't somehow get you guilty...

When that happens just appeal the ticket, all you have to do is write to the parking violations bureau that the meter was broken and they will actuallly send a guy out there to check it out. If your right they will send someone to repair the meter and they will dismiss your ticket.
