Bergen Imports on Palisades Ave. Guy to speak with is Harry. Tell him that Brian with the Supra sent you.

I had a bodykit painted and put on my green Supra there, and the work was excellent. I've seen some other cars that were done there as well, and the paint was even better than the OEM finish. There's a different guy working the bodyshop now though, but Harry claims that this guy is even better.

His work was incredibly expensive before.

I went to him recently and it seems that his prices have come down a little. He wanted about $3500 to repaint my car the stock factory color. He could do fiberglass/bodykit work, but prefers not to simply because the fit and finish is never as good as OEM. For a complete color change, he quotes in the neighborhood of $6000, but again, his quality is very good (very thorough).

If its a friend who's **** and very particular about his work, then I wouldn't mind taking it to a friend. But then again, if you dont like the finished product, your friendship can be in jeopardy.

I remember looking through a list of Allstate's recommended bodyshops and there was one in Westwood. Maybe it's the same one - if so, they apparently do pretty good work.

Also, I think I live only one or two towns away from you, so I'm very familiar with Bergen County

oh yeah were from

well i went there and the price he gave me was $500 to tear down all the old paint fix what needed fixing and primer sand and shoot

said he could have done it cheaper but ....he wouldnt have put as much work into iit
figured i better get donme correctly and not be cheap where paint counts
nothing worse than a car with a sh*t paintjob

iwound up having the work done through the bodyshop at prestige lexus on rte 17s in nj. ithink the towm is either mahwah or ramsey. i'm not sure if it waqs done on premises or outsourced but in any eventt the job was done very well at at a cost actually less than the geico shop quote. dave delmonico is the shop's manager

TLW, I'm in River Vale.

Gekisai, Prestige doesn't have a bodyshop. They send you car out to a few places, depending on how backed up the bodyshops are. One of the better places they send your car out to for bodywork is Eurotech.

Hi Johnny,

Mine is black, but I rarely drive it. Last year (2004), I put about 100 miles on it.

I think I missed the last meeting you had at your place, but I would be more than willing to come to the next. Thanks

-Brian.
