Default NY Auto Show meet??

Seems the Lexus will debut the GS 450h hybrid there and the next IS will be there too. If we can confirm this, I might fly up to go to this show, since our auto show here in Atlanta blows monkey *****.
What about a meet that weekend? We could all go together on a Saturday to the show?

I wouldn't mind someone picking me up in their fly Lex at the airport I'd probably stay in the Bronx with my Aunt of Fordham ave.....

Philly Auto Show isnt all that great. I went for the first time last year. The great part about it is that its not that crowded and you have a lot of time to sit and look inside every car you want to. The bad part about it is that there arent many concept vehicles and they are all about 1-2 years old. But you can still go. I am.

NYC Auto Show on the other hand is out of this world. I go every year. 3 separate areas of new cars trucks and concepts. Its huge. Make sure you got some good walking shoes and are well rested. You could be there all day. I might see yall up there, I usually go on a saturday or sunday.

I also went to the NYC International Auto Show in 2003. It was my first time at that show, and I gotta say they did a standup job covering the entire spectrum of new, current and concept vehicles. Great location too at the JJ Convention Center, although I street-parked about 10 blocks away. The show is definitely worth it to make your rounds around all the vehicles on display, and I believe there is an aftermarket parts section on display as well (at the top level of the building, at least from the '03 show). Maybe at this year's show they'll have something extra for the attendees, who knows. But it looks like I'm down to come as well

Aftermarket parts has been up there for years. They will have it again this year. Many people actually buy stuff up there. Rims, Bodykits etc. My best friend bout some Enkei rims from upstairs.

Default Show Meet

A meet is a great idea, but no chance I'm bringing my GS down there - first off parking is horrendous at best - and that is at an attended lot - oh btw the "event" flat rate is $40 unless of course you decide to bring the GX then it gets nailed for the $20 Oversize Charge too - not responsible for damage to painted bumpers either.

I will definitely be at the show since wifey gets the tix from Lexus and alot of the cars at the show come from her dealership.

As for the airport thing - Mike, give me a shout and I can check my schedule.
