Hi All

Would like to know if there would be any intrest in setting up a NYC meet.

Although the Ct. sounds like fun, logistically its difficult for me.

How about it New Yorkers?

 

hey.. how are u?? u'd be surprised how close CT really is from NYC.. the last meet brought in quite a few from the city area...they all met up somewhere, some center, and drove up together, i think it took them about 1 hour and 30 minutes..

it may seem far now..but once you're driving with a few other people, and a few nice cars, the drive just seems to pass within minutes...

anyways..its all up to you... im sure there will be other meets closer to nyc... but not by much.. hope you can make it...could use some more GS'.....

 

Oh I don't mind the drive TicaLis300, I love to drive my gs400 (already got 30k and only 13 mos old )

My bachelor party is on the 28th so cant make your meet, so I wanted to know if possible nyc meet in future.

But I will definitely check out one of your meets in Ct someday.

hey, I also think that NYC meet is a good move.

Let's do this, who wants a nyc meet, just post here, if we have 5 - 10 people attenting, that could be a nice mini nyc meet.

Hey guys, as you may have read, I'm trying to organize a gathering of larger proportion @ a beach site here in Maryland.

I 'm leaving posts to provide an open door for all of you to come down & attend. What I have suggested is that if there are members in the NY area who want to do this.....it would be a good idea for the interested parties to meet @ a central location, let's say somewhere on the NJ Turnpike & then drive down to the gathering location here in the Maryland area. From that point ALL of us would drive to the destined site.

Oh yeah......I'm trying a target date somewhere between the weekends of July 28th to August 11th. Just the fact that the venue will be of a beach orientation, will make for some additional fun .

In addition, we will be grilling food, layin' out in the sun, talkin stuff about our cars & in the evening we will drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to dine @ a favorite seafood spot of mine that's right on the dock. Fun for the whole family!!!!

For those who are driving decent size distances, I can arrange for Hotel/Motel accomodations that are just within 20 minutues from the venue site.

Any ideas, suggestions, etc.?
