dyno day

track day.

 

I clearly remember when we had track day; it was out in Long Island NY. Pics of the track meet are found here. That was a fun day to test the performance capabilities of our rides. I couldn't believe to this day I pulled a 15.7 on the 1/4-mile in my stock ES

I don't mind doing either dyno or track day. Dennis, do you know a few places to do the dyno or the track?

 

for track i sure am not going back to LI dragway.. the guy promised at least 3 runs and 90% of us got 2 runs..... but the bikers for 5-6 runs and the pros got 5 to 6 runs as well.

i would say englishtown...... on a weekenight... i know for many this is hard... but it's a better bet... i can arrange for something on the weekend... but i know they are busy on weekends...


as for dyno... yes.. i know 2 places.. one in long island and one in NJ... they are both just about 1 hour away... i can negotiate some rates for us.

we should probably have a meet where some of us with S-AFC's can help installing them for member who want them in their car.... this way we can all go there and get them tuned as well.

 

We NEED to have aTRACK day a either Englishtown, or at ATCO.. both NJ both GOOD>. we WILL get MORE runs in at ATCO...

ATCO has wed and fri night test and tune nights.. opens at 530 lanes last call at 1030 i usually get 3-6 runs in .. no matter how busy it is.. and its cheaper than Raceway park

 

You tune your own $60 / hour or else 4 pulls for $40. You should be able to fine tune it with 4 pulls.

 

I say Dyno...Never had my car dyno'ed before, so it should be interesting..

 

maybe we can have a track and and since Angel already has a dyno day going we should participate on his dyno day.
