i jus got my magnaflows in with custom 2.5 inch piping, love every bit of it but i took out the cat converter or third resonator. question is will i pass emissions in NY without it? i asked the guys at the shop and they hinted YES but i wanna make sure.

 

No way jose you are not going to pass that emissions test with all those mods . but you can pass the inspection it will cost you

 

no cats = no pass
no resonator = pass
magnaflows = too loud

 

??...I have them...Not loud at all...I don't even hear them when I'm driving sometimes...Only when you drive aggressively you'll hear a nice deep tone but thats about it...

I passed...

 

I think with headderbacks (deleting 3 resonators) will make it very loud.

i like the sound of your exhaust by the way... very G35'ish
