Price Negotiations with dealer??
Apology in advance for asking a dumb question. Do Park Place Lexus and Sewell Lexus in DFW area negotiate price for L-certified and pre-owned vehicles? Whenever I tried to ask for lowering the price, I didn’t get much response. Some tips to negotiate would help and greatly be appreciated. Thank in advance.

The short answer is yes because there's FOUR Lexus dealerships in the DFW area. The issue is when you're buying used, you're not comparing apples to apples. One car might be less or more than another and that's probably because of the miles and/or options. 500, 1000 miles will get you a different price from one car versus another. You might see one price for $1000 more but that might be because it has less miles or an option that you might need notice/care to have.
The way I approach it is to be nice to the sales guy. You'll get them to "work" harder for you by being nice versus being a jerk/demanding about a price. Be honest and know what you want before going in the dealership. I hate it when people say they found a better deal X months down the road. That's because they waited longer and the car is older at that point.

The internet has made sales a lot more transparent. We all tend to remember the great
fun we had churning up the numbers for hours to get a good deal but don't like to recall
the hours spent driving around with a folded up newspaper Auto Section. Now we can
filter for year/model/color/options/pictures/price and eliminate for any one of those that
does not suit our desire. If you see the car that has the right stuff you don't assume it
can be changed easily right? "Looks Red in the pictures but maybe they'll paint it Blue?"
Price has become similar, if it is listed high enough to allow a bunch of discount then it
falls to the 3rd or 4th page of listings AND NOBODY CLICKS on it. It is used to take
hours to pick and debate a purchase, now it's super simple, on-line credit apps, quick
and easy. Plan on getting a friendly courtesy "nice round number" or "free all weather
mats" but don't pin your hopes on the old fashioned 10% off type movement.
