Sorry but every dealership is different on how they do business. She might not budge cause it her commission. Just shop around a better deal will open up.

You have nothing to complain about, if that is the way they price their CPO's that is THEIR decision. Just because YOU want to haggle and knock down the price is immaterial. The question is, was the price a fair, market price? I never can understand why people always think they can knock down the price of an item, just because. Some businesses set their prices at what they are willing to sell it for, if that bothers you and you feel a need to haggle 'to get the best price' then just find another dealer.

When I bought my CPO they barely budged at all, I think like $200. They explained to me that they spend some much time and money certifing the car, then the warranty along with the car is worth a lot as well, therefore the CPO cars aren't negociable compared to the others...
My recommendation would be to definitely buy a CPO car, because it is worth it! The 3 year bumper to bumper is a lifesaver!!!
Good luck!!

Can you give us more details about the car? e.g. price/mileage? maybe we can give some insight on whether it was a good deal or not.

As for used car pricing - it looks like a lot of dealers are posting the bottom price since the internet is making things too competitive for them to bs around anymore. There are still those shady dealers with the obvious price premiums, but most seem to be pretty realistic in what they are asking nowadays.

Best of luck in your search!

i bought my CPO there 07 is250 with 27000 for like 28k-30k and usually the CPO warranty cost them $1800 so the salesman Edmond woodfork knocked off like 1600 for me.

I was in the same boat as you. When it comes to their CPO vehicles, they definitely won't budge much. I went from dealership to dealership, same situation. Yes, they seem like jerks, and some were. The nicest dealership I have ever delt with was 4 hours away (Dallas), but because they weren't the stuck up jerks my fiance and I have been dealing with, we decided to take the trip there after negotiating over the phone. They took care of everything and made sure that they weren't being pushy what so ever. Examine the car physically and check on the history, and you should be fine. With CPO, you can just take it to any Lexus as if it were a brand new vehicle.

Bought my 2011 CPO IS350 for $31,995 a month ago. Only 18k miles.

Looked brand new, still smelled new, dealer wouldn't budge 1 dollar. Oh well, it was the newest and cleanest 2IS I could find near me.

Prices on used low mileage 2IS are getting ridiculous over here in CA

I just think it's THAT dealer's policy on THAT particular car. I don't know why this has to become a global Lexus CPO policy from a single experience.

Funny how hard she's pushing on a car that's priced to sell, though.

I was able to get the dealer to drop $600 on my 2011 IS250 fsport CPO back in October. Only took 4 hours of back and forth!
