Hello,

I am hoping that someone might be able to help me. I need some keys cut. I have a master key but I purchased a couple of extra keys with the transponders. I have already programmed the keys but I just need the blanks cut. Have any of you gotten them cut somewhere without paying 80+ bucks just to cut them? Any suggestions on where to have the blanks cut? Thanks in advanced.

I forgot to mention that I am in the Frisco/Plano area.

 

Hey Quad try A1- Locksmith, the location @ 1622 Market Center (near downtown Dallas) did mine for $16 a piece, about 3 months ago. They have multiple locations,including your area. I would call first,because all locations don't have the machine to cut the Lexus keys. I bought a couple of flip keys off ebay, swapped the transponders (no programming needed) & they did the cuts.....no issues & all keys work

 

Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely give them a call tomorrow. I have been calling around and one place actually wanted $250 just to cut the key!

 

I stay in Dallas . I went to Lexus Of Grapevine to have an outside key remote cut last week, and they wanted to charge me $35 to cut a non Lexus OEM key which the guy was nice enough to do it for free. But yet they only charged my $13 to purchase and cut a dummy key 6 months ago.
