my key case finally gave up. ive already bought a replacement key, but i need to have it cut. besides the dealership, is there someone in the area who can cut these keys at a reasonable price?

I think they cut keys there for 15 dollars back in 2004 the last time I owned a Lexus, but thats the cost of buying the key from them. It should be cheaper if you have your own key, but they cannot program your key if its chipped or anything.

im swapping the guts from my key into the new case so wont need to program.

It should be pretty cheap I know that he charges like $90 for a GS key with cut and program.

There is a business right in the front lobby of the DMV its like a kiosk which cuts keys.

U guys, or does anyone own those flip keys they sell on eby. The ones that look like vw keys.

 

i thought about buying that vw style flip key but once it starts to wear, it looks really bad. what i mean is, the blade doesnt stay in the case.
