Hey NELOC

My name is Shawn

Just moved from South Florida (Ft. Lauderdale) staying with in-laws in the Bronx. Brought my Lexus GS300 with me. Just wanted to introduce myself to you guys.

Two questions I have if you guys can help me out:
• Can anyone recommend a good Lexus/Toyota mechanic shop. Just got a major tune-up (timing belt, WP, valve cover gaskets, seals, etc.) but just in case I have an issue in the future I have a shop to go to.

• I'm in desperate need of a car wash/detailing shop. After that long drive from Florida and two days parked on the roadside. Apparently birds love my car...SMH this is what my car looks like

I don't take my Lexus to any shop, but my boy who resides in Queens does the majority of my mechanical work he knows the 2J motor inside out. If you are interested shoot me a PM and I can forward you his info.

The only good carwash spots (handwash) I know of is in Queens and Long Island.

 

Welcome to NELOC and the north east. Not sure why you would want to move from Sunny warm weather to freezing cold haha. Either way good luck and hope everythign works out. Sorry i cant recommend any places to get your car checked out. Im sure some of the NY members will chime in to help you out.

LOL....yeah all my boys down south were saying the same thing, but circumstances just had to move north. But staying with in-laws for now so me and my wife can save for a house.

 

you can try LI detailer to get that car looking proper...
