hey i just wanted to mention that most of the hotels are sold out! so dont book last minute, ill be staying at the hampton down the block from aloft. im a hilton member so if anyone wants a discount pm me. hopefully everyone makes it

 

Are these hotels near the beach itself or further inland?

 

are we gonna have a pre meetup somewhere in the area so we can roll in all together?

 

We could all meet up again. Last year we all stayed at the Aloft. We got up washed our cars together then cruised there so im sure we will do the same again.

 

also i didnt see anything about entering a group for neloc when i registered it just asked for my name and car

 

When you get there if its like last year they will ask you when you check in and they will give you a number to put on your car.

Last year we made a few stops on the way down. We stopped in MD picked up a few guys and then all cruised down to VA together. I know this year a few of us might be coming down on Thursday instead of Friday and the rest will come down on Friday. Still trying to iron a few things out. I will have Andy chime in on that one.

 

I'll most likely will be going to Springfest this year but still I'm still on the fence on what day to drive down. I'd prefer to drive down (hopefully caravan with others) on Saturday for the show, chill with the fellas that night and leave on Sunday. I'm not really liking the idea on having to drive down on a Friday and dealing with that brutal traffic in the VA/Outer D.C area. If the majority of people are driving down on Friday then I'll suck it up and may go that day too. What day did most people drive down last year?

And since there is no group rate for the Aloft Chesapeake hotel, are they still the choice for everyone who intends on booking a hotel or has already booked?

 

Last year we all drove down on Friday and most of us left Sunday afternoon and some left Sunday Night.

 

I booked some cheap hotel near the beach (beach carousel I thibk its called) it was like 130 for the weekend lol
