So I ripped my exhaust on the bridge. Freaking construction. I hit the gas and the car didn't move. I turned it off and turn it back on and then it started moving. :'( now my car sounds like a lawnmower. It sounds like a Honda Civic.
i feel ur pain Kareem. i think my shocks are blown or springs went bad. i also found out one of my friends had a industrial size nail go through his tire and he is on 24 inch wheels. not a good month. bad luck is everywhere! beware!
dc area getting in on some of the nasty road action too ^ ^ ^
i was driving home last night on highway 50 east leaving dc and going about 75 in a 65 as usual. my LS430 is about 4" off the ground on coilovers; there must have been what looked like a log or something big just sitting in the hov lane and it went directly under my car (thankfully it was in the middle of the lane). the log was probably like 5-6 inches tall and made the loudest scariest noise as i went over the top of it. sounded like my whole car bottomed out.
i will have to check to see how much under body plastic pieces i have left now.
i wounder what would have happened if my wheel had hit it¿¿¿
I think all NYC drivers feel your pain. I hit a ditch (way worse than a pothole) the other day and got a bent rim on my not even 2 week old Lemans.
The same exact thing happened to me about a month ago. It's no joke out here. I think I'm going to get some 18's as daily drivers. And hold the 19s for shows and events only
Wow thats rough! I thought I had some bends in my wheels but his makes me feel better a little . Is this still holding air?
Yep it holds air and balances fine. No shimmys or vibrations....which I'm pretty surprised. I already made a 400m round trip on it. I just swapped em out today for stocks as I'll be driving more the following week.

I know of a spot that will fix it for you in 10 minutes. Charging 50 bucks. I went there for mines and it looks like new.
