Couple of concerns,,,
1. While we ALWAYS encourage out locals meet and such, this is REALLY short notice to anounce and have it become a BIG success. Not saying that it wont be at all, but in the future, you may want to give more than 1 weeks notice so that people can plan their schedules accordingly as well as take off from work, if that is what they choose to do.
2. Historically, having been involved with MANY gatherings, meets, etc with NELOC, you will not ALWAYS have the ame number in attendance as what will sign up to confirm so I would plan accordingly. Will normally lose 10-15% of your attendance confirmations due to short notice, last minute plans, etc.
3. Most public parks DO require a permit for group gatherings (varies bypark and size of group) so consider this when looking around for location. I amnot familiar with them all, as they DO vary. Just don't get caught off hand if the local parks dept comes around to see what you guys are up to.
Just a few tips and hints for you in order to pull off hassle free as well as stress free events/getherings. Trust,,,,,these things do help.

Good, then I'll bring my Honda Fit instead
My SC looks like garbage with stock wheels. I don't have enough time to buy tires, hub rings, mounting, and get an alignment for this event in one week.
Not to mention I need a good alarm & multiple wheel locks (just moved to Woodbridge).

yea me and by buddy made this BQQ, sorry for the short notice guys, its for any make and model. Its basically a meet/bbq for all the local car group. We done it at Occaquan Regional Park for the past two years and had no problems with the park department. As long as people don't do stupid stuff.
Hope to see many of you guys there.
