hey, what's going on everyone. is there anyone here in brooklyn new york that can recommend a good shop that specializes in lights (ie: angel eyes, daytime running lights & to install HID fog lights.) that doesn't charge an arm & a leg

 

Honestly you're best bet is looking in the regional forums for someone local. However, to install HID fogs you're looking at a simple aftermarket ballast + Bulb combo. The vendor merchant marketplace will have some nice kits around $60. As for angel eyes there are no oem or aftermarket support for this mod. You would need to find a higher end specialist shop that has done work like that to the oem housing. I've maybe seen 2 GS's on the forum with angel eye's and they looked like show cars. DRL bulb can be replaced as easily as installing the HID's. I'd suggest searching these topics out and you'll find detailed instructions on how to change the bulbs. You could also go to dealer and have the DRL's completely turned off.

 

i have a old set of hid from my 2001 gs300. i wanted to see if i can get them put on but if not then i will buy a new 1. i'm just new to all this now where can i find the regional and vendor merchant forums and what would u recommend if i need new a 1, old 1 has a lot of wires thankz for the help
